Sputtering is a cathodic pulverization process that allows the emission of molecular fragments from a solid material (called Target) bombarded with a beam of energetic particles (ions).
The metal of the Target is thus released in gaseous form in the vacuum chamber and is deposited on the parts to be finished.
This technique provides different finishes with colorations according to the type of target used (gold, copper, blue, etc…) with the advantage of obtaining a more uniform and sharper coloration compared to classic painting, in addition there is the possibility to increase the thickness of the deposed film compared to a classic PVD.

Benefits of metallization through Sputtering
- Possibility to deposit various types and colors of Alloys and Metals (example: Gold, Titanium, Copper, Chrome)
- Suitable to materials of any shape and size. Executable on: Plastic – Aluminum – Steel – Glass – Textiles.
- Brilliant, reflective and high-quality finishes. High gloss for absolute aesthetic performance at very low thicknesses (microns)
- Increased thickness of metal deposed through this technique
- “Green” process with almost no environmental impact.
- Suitable for various sectors Furniture, Fashion, Automotive, Houseware.
